What data we collect
To make a booking: first and last name, phone number, email address and personal code. The personal code is required for medical records under Latvian law. The comment field is optional.
Why
To prepare and confirm your appointment, contact you about it, and carry out the duties imposed on a medical institution.
Legal basis
Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and the provision of health care (Art. 9(2)(h)).
How long we keep it
The personal code and comment are encrypted and automatically deleted 7 days after the appointment. The rest of the booking data is kept for as long as medical record-keeping requirements set out.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, and file a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv). Write to us at info@rixmed.lv.
